March 2004 Blues in
Schools program held in Jefferson City at Southwest Elementary & in
Columbia at Gentry Middle School.
The program was presented by TJ Wheeler . Only
photos of Southwest Elementary are available.
There
were plenty of kids in attendance.
Some lucky ones got selected to play as TJs band.
TJ really got the kids
involved.
By the end all the kids
(and the teachers)
were up on their feet and dancing!

2003 Christmas Party
& Jam @ MOJO's
We had a good crowd.
Wille D & The JC Blues Band hosted the jam.
Johnny G receives the
$1000 check for winning the October Blues Blast.
Adriene joins the band and plays some great harp.

September 2003 BBQ

2003 Blues Jam held at Michigan Place in Jefferson City.
Just getting started.
Some players took a break,
some kept playing.
New players rotated in for
a new sound.
May 2003 Blues in
Schools program held at the Jefferson City Regional Library and in Rolla at the
Centre.
Several kids and parents
came out to learn
about the blues and hear some great music in Jeff City.
Thanks to our guest
musicians who put on a nice show.
David Rice on guitar with accompaniment on Sax and Clarinet.
The Rolla event included
several musicians playing with David Rice, Jim McBride on harmonica & Jim Henry on
bass (both from the Pseduo Blues Band) Jim Sigler (of KMUR) on guitar.

home made Diddley Bow and gave a talk on how to make one. Yes that's a rare
"Altoids" resonator model J
September 2002 Blues
Jam, after the membership meeting.
We had some young guitar
slingers show up for this jam. Pictured are Skylar, Danny, Ron, Ben,
Gary, Charlie.

August 2002,
Children's Art Expo in Jeff City.

was a hot day, but we had cool blues to listen to.
This event was for kids, it was a blues in schools event for us. Met many kids
& parents, handed out blues info and gave away some CDs and shirts.
July 2002, Cole County

The fair
was fun, we all got to hear Full Moon, The Kentucky Headhunters, (Yes they
did some Blues) and especially The Cobalt Project from KC, they really
laid down some good blues for all.
Thanks to all who stopped by to see us and
bought some of our new shirts.
